For the first time in so many years that EdwardRingwald.com has been in operation I have decided to take the plunge into the blogosphere.  After setting up all of the necessary settings that go with a blog I have decided to replace the guestbook feature with the all new Edward Ringwald Blog, which will be a part of EdwardRingwald.com.

Every so often I'll try to keep it updated.  You will also be given the opportunity to leave your own comments so that everyone can see.  One favor I need to ask of you is to please keep your comments clean as EdwardRingwald.com is a family friendly site.  Additionally, the Edward Ringwald Blog is moderated which means that whatever comments you make will be checked before it's allowed to be posted.

OK, Mr. Edward Ringwald, what happened to the Guestbook?

For a few years I have had a guestbook feature which was hosted by a guestbook provider, Guestbook Central.  However, the free version requires advertising while the paid version does not.  I have had a paid version of the guestbook for a few years and it costs money to operate and maintain.  So, in order to cut costs where I can, I have decided to replace the guestbook with a blog.
